Certificate of habitability (CHB)

Certificate of occupancy is a legal document that certifies that a dwelling meets the minimum requirements of habitability and health to be inhabited. This document is issued by the competent authorities, such as the local or regional government, and is necessary to be able to legally inhabit a dwelling. Its aim is to ensure that dwellings offer adequate conditions for the daily life and health of their occupants.

• Proof of payment of the corresponding certificate.
• Photocopy of the ID card of the owner or authorised representative.
• Copy of title deed or lease agreement.
• Certificate of habitability or certificate of completion and habitability.
